Getting Six-Pack Abs With The Right Training Program
When an out-of-shape individual works a particular area of the body, like the midsection for example, with exercise of even a minimal intensity, increases in muscle tone can give the false impression of having spot reduced fat cells. The truth is, all they have done is create a minimal level of added muscle tone in that area, without the reduction of any fat cells or any overall fat loss.
This silly “technique” is most often applied to the midsection or “abs” in men, and the buttocks and upper thigh and hips with women. It’s no surprise that these are the two main places where fat cells tend to dwell in each of the sexes. Listen, although you can produce some noticeable improvement through the use of low intensity exercise for these areas of the body, the results are insignificant when compared to those produced from a complete muscle building program.
It is physiologically impossible to spot reduce fat cells from any area of the body. You can strengthen the muscles of your abdominal area through exercise, but to reduce fat cells, you must reduce your food intake. Also, you can reduce fat cells by increasing the amount of exercise you perform.
But, the best exercises to achieve this are not abdominal exercises. The best exercises for reducing overall fat cells, are exercises that work the major muscular structures of the whole body. The truth is that it is not necessary to work the abdominal at all, in order to reduce the fat cells around the midsection. All that matters, is your overall consumption of calories, and overall expenditure of energy. Period.
Let’s not be shy about the fact that most of us exercise to improve the way we look. Although there are other equally important reasons for working out, as far as motivation is concerned, improving the way we look probably takes the cake.
And hey, there is nothing wrong with pursuing this worthy goal. And while there are many other values in life, we should, and we must, count looking good amongst them. This may seem a little superficial to some, but consider that as living organisms, one of our main jobs is to ensure the continued existence of our DNA.
We do this of through sexual reproduction, and in almost all species, an attractive appearance can either make or break our chances of “spreading our genes.” A simple program is the fastest and most productive way to build muscle fast and transform your body and physical appearance.
And, although engaging in a well designed muscle building program may seem a little vain to some, you should remember that the attractiveness of our bodies, helps ensure the survival of our species. You know it’s true.
